Introduction to Sylva testing Working Group, Luis Velarde (Telefonica)

Luis shared the activity and missions of WG2. he detailed the validation cycle steps. Several CNFs have already been validated on Sylva by the WG2. The reports are public and available on WG2 site

The WG2 already uses GitOps for the ISSU tests of Sylva (test of Sylva upgrade with GitOps when the CNF up&running). The deployment of the CNF is manual. Open question: could GitOps intents be used and shared at the WG2 to build a library of intents for the validated function?

testkube

Ole (teskube CTO) shared a presentation on GitOps Continuous Testing and testkube. The Continuous Testing concepts are reminded here Ole made a short demo of testkube showing the capability of the framework to manage the testing strategy of an organization by aggregating different tools and providing consistent dashboard.

Testkube is an open source cloud native framework to manage testing from Kubernetes (even if some workflows can be on PNF or VM).

Swisscom indicated that they could also share the way they are using testkube for the 5G Core testing strategy.
